go through crafer, turn left towards piccadilly rd, turn right at the Monument roundabout and follow the road down to mt barker rd, turn left at the woodyard then fang it down to Aldgate, turn right opposite the CFS and enjoy the double fun, down aldgate valley rd then back up.

you can cross over the freeway at crafers, left at the top of waverly ridge road, down ayers hill then right down longwood to stock rd (this bit is a nice ride), then left down stock rd, brings you to the end of AVR. However Stock rd was pretty rough last time I went down it.

Thanks Matt, I think I'll take option 1 first. Might even take option 2 as well for triple fun :)

How about the bottom bit of Montacute below the Corkscrew
The 6.1 km climb out of Clarendon heading out to Cherry Gardens way....absolutely stunning

Good call. Clarendon Rd is my favourite climb, it's scenic, not too hard if you want to spin but is good to attack, close to home too which helps..

+ 1 for me, scenic, peaceful and gentle climb, nothing better.

The Encounter Bikeway is 30km shared bicycle/pedestrian path between Encounter Bay and Goolwa - perfect for families

It is a must do in my own opinon...one of the best bike tracks anywhere....especially if you are looking to buy a shack near the beach.:)

I rode down Montecue Road this morning for the first time in while....agreed - great piece of road.

I'm am bit partial to California Road that goes through McLaren Vale, Whites Valley and the Willunga (I would be though)!

+1 for this...nice climb up to Hahn rd

If you like a good piece of road for a time trial then the Battunga Road between Echunga to Meadows 10 km is pretty well unbeatable
