I enjoy the climb up Acklands Hill Road then along Ironbank Road. Turn onto Morgan Road for a thrilling downhill with sharp braking to turn onto Scott Creek Road. Riding up through the trees there is really peaceful and not too much traffic. For all good things though you end up with the sharp climb up Ayers Hill Road to get to Crafers. Then the luxury of the run down to the toll gate. Where else do we get two lanes with very little traffic for a good downhill run.

Permalink Reply by Shav Bird on January 27, 2012 at 9:13 I quite enjoyed the portion between West Beach and the City of Linear Park yesterday. By far one of the nicest trails I've been on North of where I live. Would love to do the Torrens Weir section of it in the future.

Its a climb thats not too hard but is still a climb followed by a downhill thats not too fast. Unfortunately the surface is a bit rough.

Quick stop in Sedan for a top up and then back over Sedan Hill to Penrice and eventually Nuri. 112 km and approx 1500m of vertical. A good day out!

Permalink Reply by Dstone on June 22, 2012 at 23:08 Love that climb. When you get to the top continue straight over the lobathel road and you get a bit more climbing on the way to greenhill rd.
