Hi,

I am coming down to Adelaide in a couple of months time and am wondering which are the best coffee shops for cyclists in Adelaide. I lived in Woodville for 5 years when i was a young lad and lived on my dragster tearing up the streets. So it is time to come back to my old stomping ground this time with a grown up bike.

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Taylor's Blend at Stoneyfel has good coffee but Cudlee Cafe at Cudlee Creek is worth the ride to.

There was this discussion a little while ago that may have some we've forgotten here.

Thank you very much for the information
I agree with Lee-Anne about Coffee Branch on Leight St City. Josh the owner and Batista does the best coffee I've had. He's a fixie nut too.
Sounds like my type of cyclist! Thanks
Make your way down to the pantry - It's just a quick spin to Egmont terrace, and they do a very good coffee. It can get busy though.
Thanks Sam

Sam- is The Pantry open early on weekdays? (I'm thinking 7.30 Tuesday on the way home from TMMLM)

I see their sign on Cross Rd. I usually head for Cibo on KW Road (opposite UnCaffe) which is always brimming with cyclists from early, but I'm happy to try somewhere new.

According to 5000 it's open Wednesday to Sunday, from 8am to 5pm.

Crafers Cafe - 7 Main Street Crafers is a memorable stop. The only place where I have seen regular cyclist groups that visit the shop have their photos proudly displayed on the window, plus when you order you get the following:

What would you like? Is that small, medium or large? Is that strong, medium or weak? Is that hot, medium, or cool???

So many choices, and they nail it every time. I have it on authority (witnessed this myself) that the Large Cap is actually spa bath size! Mite need a longer stop to digest this though...

Thank you Scott

Nice sign in the car park there too welcoming cyclists.

Now I know we cyclists watch our diet very closely but Crafers Deli do the best hot dogs you'll ever eat, Even more choice than their coffee menu.

Scott, when you visit Adelaide you may want to check out the Events / rides on AC and meet up with some of us.

If you need a loan bike, Adelaide City Council has a free City Bike Scheme where you can borrow a fairly ordinary bike for the day. Operates from several sites, between about 9am to 4pm or 5pm, every day of the week.
