I'm after the the best quaity and most comfortable tape for drop bars to lessen the vibration and discomfort from long days on the bike.
I await your learned and wise counsel...
(and yes, aesthetics is important!)

The 'Pro' bar tape used by Green Edge at the tour village felt really good...grippy yet shock absorbent. ( I was copping a feel of the scott foil opposite the green edge mechanics bay)
I use cinelli gel cork...in BLACK...though i do have one white saddle, sorry.
Permalink Reply by Rob (Chewbacca) on March 1, 2012 at 5:14 Prologo....it is cork...comes in different colours....and cheap enough to change it regularly....it looks the same as the tape made by ZIPP...but at one third the price.....cheap enough to be not disturbed about ripping it off if you dont like it.....gel tape heats up in the sun :(
