Ouch!! There's no way he could have avoided that - it just came out of no where!
Yeah he saw it, he pointed to it before hand but proab wasnt expected for that head butt.
OUCH, poor guy - he saw it too, man that's dangerous!
None of them anywhere near Nortons is there?
LOL, More like South Africa Dude.
2010 east of Quilpie and north of Cunnamulla - I was watching the cyclist ahead of me, on a dull bit of Queensland Development Road. Then, coming in from stage right, at full tilt, through the scrub towards the road - an enormous black adult wild pig.
The pig was coming up at the cyclist from behind at a bit of an angle, and clearly aiming for him. Any sane animal, would let the bike pass then head straight across the road .... but the pig kept going, and I could see the gap closing. The cyclist was just carrying on as normal, so hadnt seen it. I wondered whether the pig would pass close in front - or just behind - or knock him off.
A second from impact - just before the pig had to break cover and go onto the road verge - the pig quickly put on the brakes, dodged, and then vanished.
I caught up with the cyclist at the next rest stop - he hadnt even been aware of the animal!
Lucky, I wouldnt be aware if it was myself too, Im deaf.
