Adelaide Cyclists

The Australian Cycling Conference series will continue in 2010 and will once again be held at the University of Adelaide, on North Terrace, Adelaide

It's not too late to register for the conference, but you will have to be quick!

The expanded 2-day, single-stream gathering will be held on Monday 18 January and Tuesday 19 January.

This conference provides an opportunity for academics, practitioners and advocates of cycling to present their cycling research and new cycling projects. It is an opportunity to network with people involved in cycling research, policy development, planning and project implementation. The conference aims to develop and disseminate cycling research, knowledge and expertise.

I would love to be able to go to this conference, but I have to work. I think it is something that I will plan for next year.

Jeremy, are you able to post information to come out of the conference either on your blog or here so that those of us who cannot be there can still be "in the loop" of information flow? That would be great!

Has anyone thought of inviting the Transport Ministers of South Australia and the other states to be a part of this?

Hi Andrew
Minister Patrick Conlon is opening the conference tomorrow and there will be a good spread of attendance from local and state government. I am also doing an interview Minister Conlon on Wednesday that we plan to publish as a podcast, stay tuned!
I'll post information about the conference here and on the BISA website http://www.bisa.asn.au

It has been a intense couple of days! Will unpack my brain over the next few days and aim to get some information on-line about the conference!
