Surprise!

Not Lance...!

I don't understand why, if these allegations are true, they didn't do something 7 wins ago.

Good, it might knock that bloody MHL thread off the front page.

Lance tweeted this overnight. His official response:
I'm doing an iphone copy/paste so I hope the URL in that works.

Yawn

Seems my link failed. In the mean time, I've ready a post by CyclingTips and it includes Lances response along with some interesting commentary. This link ought to be more successful:

Juz, thanks. Includes an interesting table of other pro cyclists (allegedly) connected with drug taking. I am not a fan of Lance but think it is time to stop this probing. His financial and stress costs could be considered harassment.

Edit: this was also linked off cyclingtips, but I didn't see it until after juz posted - this is a link I got from the Washington Post Sports online,

This happens every year just before the TDF. has he or hasnt he? i dont think we will EVER know. I suspect most people think he has given the period that he raced and the fact that steroids were so prominent and not overly regulated but as he said he has taken and passed over 500 tests and he has never had a tell tale "spike" in his overall performance which is typical for a steroid user. The trouble is that when i freak of an athlete comes along and beats all the odds people automatically think that they are a drug cheat. no cycling is not the most "kosher" sport but there does appear to be a concerted effort to target Lance.
