I think Corsa Cycles had them when I bought my last helmet but that was a year ago so probably best to give them a call first.
My wife went on a massive lazer hunt the other week. JTs had some and Corsa had them too. Just not the one she wanted. She ended up at Wiggle.
Corsa Cycle Centre will have them, and if not, will happily order one in for you - which will also ensure you get the Australian compliance sticker on it.
From what I've read on here the compliance sticker is essential for partaking in racing events.
Ah, now that's the kind of thing I was hoping to find out. I'm not racing, but I don't want to have to get a new helmet if I do decide to...
Anything else re the stickers?
I think Super Elliotts stock them as well
The Bike Station at Hove stocks them
true! I can never understand why online OS retailers allow non-compliant helmets to be sold to australian customers.
Just had a google on helmet standards and read a wikipedia on it:
SAI Global (a profit-making arm of the Standards Australia organisation]) runs a marketing program based on the AS/NZS 2063 standard, in which manufacturers pay royalties and fees to affix a "5 ticks" certification trademark sticker on helmets.
This bumps up the price and once you add the importers and distributors profits into it it all adds up . Same helmet as what you buy overseas, just twice the price.
