The North is catered for, as is the South, the East pretty much has the hills at their doorstep, but us poor Westies need to ride before we can get a ride. Are there any other Westies keen for a Westie group ride?

I'm trying to get an idea of the interest in a Croydon-ish based semi-regular group ride. I'm thinking about leaving early on Saturday mornings from the Rivers on Port Road, heading up into the hills before looping back for coffee and baked goods at Adelaide's best bakery, Red Door on Elizabeth Street.

Let me know if you are interested and if you have any routes etc worth riding.

Cheers,

oh yeah.

The advantage of going uphill first is that it is downhill on the way home.

You are right. The profile looks like an apatosaurus - a long arc up, a big hump followed by a long tail.

After negotiating an apatosaurus you usually end up with a bumasaurus.

As long as it's not a sore bumasaurus.

Sounds good, I'll be moving to that area in a bit over a month... Keen for some group rides.

I live in the Brompton area and would be interested in a group ride with fellow AC members, albeit not this Saturday though (another xmas engagement)!

The weather looks terrible on Saturday - I'm thinking about postponing it until the New Year.

that would be ok, riding in storms might not be the best idea....and i have a work chrissie lunch i forgot about hehe this time of year sucks!

looking forward to the westies ride in 2012 :O)
