Not mine though :(
Saw a lovely Focus in The Bike Station today with a sold sticker on it, looked a bit like this
I'm lead to believe it's been bought by an AC member and will soon be seen on one of the southern group rides.
Just waiting on some blingy wheels.
So who is the lucky rider ?

Compact crank and 12/27 cassette fitted, black bar tape with white prologo writing to be fitted, bike fit tomorrow, bike pick up day will then come down to me handing over enough clams.
Permalink Reply by Shav Bird on April 26, 2012 at 15:33 I like that bar tape u looking to get. I considered that at the time I bought mine. Good choice.
The compact crank will work wonders on the climbs mate.

It will be ready next week, I had planned to pay it off over a few weeks so it might be a few weeks still before it is on a ride. I wanted red tape with white writing but its only black or white. wheels certainly make it look cool.

Are you getting the original rims as well?
No I accepted a credit for the new rims, which helped keep the upgrade cost down. After Sunday's windy ride I will need to be careful with cross winds I reckon.

Permalink Reply by Patrick O'Kane on April 28, 2012 at 17:27 You have obviously had a bad experience at the Bike Station and are entitled to voice your opinion but my experience has been the complete opposite and you are the first person I've ever known have a negative comment on the mechanics there.
I do most of my own work on the bike but I know lots of riders who use BS mainly for the workshop.
