If anyone is interested in sharing transport please respond here. The plan is to follow each other to McLaren Vale pre-ride & leave 1 car there then share a ride back to Flinders. After the ride we can share transport back to Flinders again.

Permalink Reply by Torsten Bunge on November 2, 2011 at 19:20 You're a legend Colin, I have left my mobile number on the CVSA forum, if I can grab yours perhaps we can talk & organise transport as I am happy to meet you at the visitors centre pre-ride to give you a lift to Flinders if needed.
Permalink Reply by Paul on November 2, 2011 at 19:35 Does anyone know how many kms it is to ride back to Flinders after the ride?
Permalink Reply by colin ware-lane on November 2, 2011 at 19:39 its about 30km paul
Permalink Reply by G Ward on November 2, 2011 at 20:01 As Colin has written, about 30km. I think the shortest route is high 20's.
I'm intending to be riding back to Flinders but undecided on what route I'll be taking (I might be going back via Flagstaff Hill to catch tail end of a friend's BBQ :)
I was going to ride back last year but ended up that I had a lift back to Flinders and on the way we saw quite a few people riding back so I can't see any reason not to do so this year.
Permalink Reply by Patrick O'Kane on November 2, 2011 at 20:05 I rode back last year via the Veloway, lots of riders doing the same, it was a nice way to finish the day off.
Permalink Reply by Torsten Bunge on November 2, 2011 at 20:03 About 25km following South Rd
