Just to say I have nothing to gain and no interest in the product other than as a cyclist who is frustrated by being ignored by motorists, suicidal pedestrians alike - NO LONGER I SAY ...Blast em!

I want one of these....

The "Was 3000", made by Wyle Laboratories can produce a sound level of 165dB, which can literally melt the wax out of your ears.

might need a frame to mount one of these on the bars.

The bike would of course have to be a BMC

Or a Rocky Mountain - sorry MTB!

Meh.... about 8 bucks at jaycar will get you the bits to make your own.

Piezo/battery/switch.

that's awesome. I want one too:)  I need a warning device for my commuting bike to alert the iPod-zombies on the shared path I can access for small parts of my commute:)

Hope you'll give us a full report when you get it Ian, sounds like there could be some interest from AC members, I've been looking for something like this for ages.

I love it!

Interesting to compare the scale shown here looks like 140dB is a fair effort...
