Hi All,

I've just had this idea about putting together a calendar for next year. Funds raised could be donated to a suitable charity. There's enough talent on the forum (photographers & cyclists) to make it achievable. What are your thoughts? Would you buy one? What sort of photos would you like to see in it? Would this get your support Gus?

I am happy to offer my services as a photographer if you decide to go ahead but I don't think I would buy one for personal use maybe as a gift.

Didn't I respond to this? I meant to! Sorry... yes, of course, by all means. As Snap said we talked about it last year.

There are a few ways of doing it.

  • You do it all!
  • Your project manage it' and we can ask if there are any designers to help
  • Someone takes all the pics - be aware there are many, many photographers on AC!
  • We do a photo comp where everyone can submit pics and everyone votes on them and the 12 or so best get in.
  • Work out the price - we could approach some sponsors to help reduce the price a bit
  • Print it
  • I can sell it via the shop and the proceeds go to cover the costs and the rest the Amy Gillet Foundation.... I mean, your charity of choice.

It's only 10 months to 1213

Angus....wouldnt necessarily stick to 12 as you can use multitude of pix as background and sell sponsorship space

10 months till 2013 - where did the year go :)

Great idea and would buy one....I have heard about this idea mentioned before and gaining sponsorship on the calendar itself....

Sounds like a brilliant idea - i would like to see some funny pictures -peeps doing silly things with there bikes :)

you can get them printed at Redbubble easy and cheap - put link up on Adelaide Cyclist - or find a cheap printer

I could pose for a photo without a shirt on! Oh wait on, we want people to actually buy the calender!
