Hi All,

I've just had this idea about putting together a calendar for next year. Funds raised could be donated to a suitable charity. There's enough talent on the forum (photographers & cyclists) to make it achievable. What are your thoughts? Would you buy one? What sort of photos would you like to see in it? Would this get your support Gus?

Maybe a calendar to take on those Buff fireman.

Great idea!

A few of us tossed the idea around last year for 2012. I even priced it with some printers, but at the time we couldn't find a graphic designer (err- member who'd do it for no guaranteed return) and we let it slide. I'm still interested in contributing.

A mix of all types of cycling in Adelaide and the Hills.  Photogenic events to everyday commute, showing what we have got.

I know plenty of graphic designers and I'm sure that one of them will help out. If Gus is happy to endorse then it sounds like it could be a go-er. I wonder if TDU would jump on board as a partnership? I have a friend who works at the South Australian Tourism Commission, maybe I should whisper a word in her ear about partnering?

GR8 idea! as long as we dont dedicated 11-12 months to the GW'ers!  =-)

surely the must be someone out there who can help us out. thanks for raising this again Katie.

Gus and I discussed this at the end of 2010 but it was too late at that stage to get something organised and last year got too busy and forgot. :-)

Hah- maybe third time lucky.. More members now too- wider distribution, better value for sponsors

Sounds like a great idea!

So fund raising for the (greater good) AGF? or (smaller target who can use the facility?) to fund a specific BISA activity ie tap to fill bottles at other end of city?  or so that AC can have a really cool night out at the wheatie?

I like the idea of a month dedicated to a specific group from the AC community - gw/muddies/slcc/night riders/cargo bikes/mtb-ers/club riders-racers/..... bascially the clubs that we have on the site - strava? (would that be advertising?)

High Definition Ratio photography is very popular and gives great surreal images. My son's an expert in using photoshop to get HDR effects.

High dynamic range (HDR) for those that want to know more

Some people quite like HDR others think it is the devils work.

personally it has its place but like any post processing once it id obvious it is overdone.
