Well today we followed BJ north, east south and west from Bocelli's to Clarendon and most of us at some point were completely lost but this is the route we took here.

It was a stunning day and after meandering our way through the western suburbs we headed south along the veloway and sea and vines trail (I think) and up cox's hill before speeding our way down hill into Clarendon.

Lunch included, BBQ of snags and kebabs, salad and Asami brought and very tasty curried cauliflower and sticky rice. All washed down with a rich red wine and followed by ginger bread cake and espresso coffee and billy tea. We were all 5 kg's heavier on the home trip so thankfully it was quite a  bit shorter.

It was a lovely mix of AC members, a mix of road bikes, MTB and Flat bars and we all enjoyed the company and the joy of cycling :) For me it was a brilliant opportunity to put faces to avatars :) I loved meeting everyone today. Special thanks to BJ for organising the day and to Gillian who supplied most of the brilliant spread and was the chauffer of food :)

For those who were after my cake recipe it is attached :)

Cheers

Sarah

oooooh! Clive threatening with puncture fairies is a bit below the belt.

Heather please do, some of us are simple folk and lack the sophistication of understanding inferences. emoticons will help dumb down your jokes so more of us can appreciate them :)
