JOB OPPORTUNITY ON A BICYCLE
INTERESTED IN KEEPING THE RIVER TORRENS
HEALTHY?
An opportunity is now available to assist the Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges
Natural Resources Management Board to maintain the River Torrens in
good condition.

The casual position is required to observe, record and report on a regular
basis, instances of illegal dumping, excessive litter, damage, unsafe
conditions, and any other unusual or inappropriate environmental activity
along the River Torrens Linear Park.

The focus of the position is on the River Torrens main river channel and
the immediately adjacent riparian zone, although attention will also be paid
to the banks beyond the riparian zone and the bicycle/pedestrian paths.
Information that is collected may be referred by the Board to other
stakeholders, such as Councils.

Employment conditions
The approximate hourly commitment is five hours per fortnight with a pay
rate of $25.34 per hour.
