Extanz.com has put together a list of what it has determined are the 50 most influential blogs on cycling. No real surprises except I think the 'chic' ones are maybe not so much about influence -- or maybe they are?
It is really good to see EcoVelo and Lovely Bicycle up there.
Not that Adelaide Cyclists would be on the list but don't be surprised about your influence - We have 1500 Twitter followers and 1750 members as of the weekend as noted by Peter Berry who also pointed out that Melbourne Cyclist has 1812. We're catching up fast!

I was thinking- what a narrow, dodgy list!
But then I clicked on the source page, and the list is only about.. ''influential bloggers celebrating the cycle chic movement'' which is a vastly different thing..
Ah! That explains it. I think less cycle chic, more cycling as functional transport and less pro-cycling/ cycling tips.
yep, pictures of girls on bikes is all very nice, but hardly 'influential'.
Cycling is such a broad church and attracts people for many reasons- Pro-sport, personal fitness, style, commuting, recreation, family.. it goes on. AC does a brilliant job of being relevant to many genres because it's our users who set the agenda.
