Modbury start - doh! Nice and central.... Not! Oh well.

I can't do Amy's this year and am highly unlikely to do the BUPA ride given this route. Looks like RLC is the only big community ride for me to aim for.
On the bright side I've just saved $145 so a nice new winter jacket could be on the cards.

If I ride I'll do my usual early start and continue on from Tanunda toward Murray Bridge with mobile phone and a rescue plan.

Well I'm still smiling. The start is just down the road from my place. Sal my wife can walk out the front and watch the real thing go by along Golden Grove Road no way she'll be up to see me go by on her hollies. We should have a bit of a party the night before at the Plaza (fingers crossed) and I really like the look of the top. I liked last years as well. We have had a finish to a stage up this way before but this is the first time the North East has had a real involvement since it has become the Big Show (UCI) well done TTG Council great work. I've done lots of starts and finishes down South (Strath, Victor, Goolwa etc) I think you'll find it would be close to being equal north v south if not a little slanted in South's favour. I could be wrong. Anyhow get out and support our TDU. If it starts at Flagstaff Hill next year I'll be there.

@ Jeremy I am with you just checked previous years and more finishing at Strath, Goolwa, Victor, Yankallia than out North. Maybe those down south need to BTFU.
