after my initial excitement i doubt whether i will do this ride. modbury start is horrid for most people living south of the city and another finish in tanunda, whilst a beautiful spot, is a bit boring to do it 2 years in a row. meh will just do RLC instead

As someone from Birdwood it was always going to be a long way to the start. Its a once a year ride. For me the convenience of a Northern route matches disappointment of not a southern route.

So - for us Southerners - Modbury a bit far to ride to the start - so will have to get transport there.
Then Tanunda - too far to ride home again - so have to get transport again - all on a school\workday
All starting to sound a bit hard already - isn't this one of the reasons they stopped the Coast to Coast, people complaining about transport before and after the event?

At least the train from Gawler will be running this year! I'd suggest parking in the city, riding to the Modbury start, ride from Tanunda to Gawler, then train back to the city...

ooorrrrrrrrr.......we could have that rebellion coast to coast ride that had been mentioned..... Glenelg to Victa perhaps?
