This is a 126km training ride, with a few hills thrown in to make it interesting. It is part of my buildup to the Three Peaks Challenge in Victoria on 10 March, but I am hoping to have a few hardy souls to ride with me. The emphasis is on endurance, not speed, so I am happy to regroup at the top of hills. Feel free to join me for lunch at Cafe Buongiorno before the ride commences. I will be eating there from about 12.30 after doing the same 126k loop in the morning (see separate event).

We might have Ben join us - he's doing the 3 Peaks this year too. I am not aiming to set any PRs on this ride - except for 'longest ride'. I will be going slow and steady, trying to keep something in the tank for the 12km climb back up to Crafers, that starts after 93km (after 219 km for me on the 2nd loop!)

My attendance at the Muddies ride is a bit iffy, so depending on if I make that ride and what ends up happening during the day, I might get there. I won't know until the morning so I will leave you a message on your phone as to whether I will get there to meet up at Buongiorno for your afternoon 'lap'.
