SUMMARY:The Rag Tag Trailer Ride - An SSRC Event
DESCRIPTION:This is a decent length ride that you can bring your kids 
 on.\nKids are welcome to ride either on their own bike, in a trailer o
 r even on a tag-along bike.\nThe ride starts from the park on Aldinga 
 Road in Willunga (the one with the old water tower)There is enough car
  parking for around 30 cars and a playground for the kids to play on w
 hilst the adults make sure the bikes, trailers and tag alongs are in g
 ood working order for the ride. There are also toilets available at th
 is start point.\nArrive at the park anytime after 9.00am for an 9.20am
  ride briefing and a 9.30am departure\nThe ride follows the Shiraz Tra
 il to McLaren Vale. The actual route will be added in the next two wee
 ks and may include some of the quieter backstreets to add a little dis
 tance\nThe track is undulating (ie. NOT flat) and will prove a good wo
 rkout for most kids and for those adults who tow, so a reasonable leve
 l of fitness will be assumed.\nThe halfway point is the McLaren Vale v
 isitors centre, which is able to provide refreshments and also had a p
 layground for the kids. The halfway point is reached at approximately 
 (to be advised). It is anticipated that there will be no longer than a
 n hour spent at the Visitors Centre to recover.\nWe will return via th
 e same route.\nThe expected time of return back at the start point is 
 12.00pm\nAll riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type  
 bike (including mountain bike) and an approved helmet are welcome. I
 t is advised that you ensure that your bikes and/or trailers, tag-alon
 gs are in good working order prior to the day of the ride.\nAll adult 
 riders ride at their own risk and are deemed responsible for any and a
 ll of the children they bring to the ride. It is advised to have publi
 c liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details.\n\nThis
