Event Description

No official SSRC ride this week due to RLC, TDU and CBF. Add you own acronym if you like. In lieu of this a few like minded southerners might be found lurking near the tunnels at Trott Pk at 6-15 and Beck Bakehouse at 6-45 for a ride in the general direction of McLaren Vale and then some heading for the hills.

All welcome as usual, no one left behind but slow riders on flat bars may be sniggered at behind their backs.

Along Somerton Park saw Smudge and Sarah and a bit further along AVO shot past heading south. Everyone's out and about, and how nice it is recognising people on bikes. Tis the season.

Comment by Patrick O'Kane on January 14, 2012 at 11:00: I chased you down Matt and Wayne and thought you must be going fast because there wasn't a sign of you anywhere. I passed Fran on the way home and had a chat, when she got back she'd also ran into Wayne. He told her I'd be along soon, she replied she'd seen me 15 minutes earlier, I wonder if it's too late to get a spot on one of those teams next week, I must have been fast. Although I reckon the veloway would have to be the quicker route because you don't have to wait half an hour to cross Main South Rd at Hackham.
