Event Description
Sunday 12 August, and the second Sunday of subsequent months, join Team Arthur in a bike ride commencing along Linear Park. The ride is suitable for all abilities and is an opportunity to meet other like minded cyclists to talk cycling and the environment. Arrive at 8.45am for a brief for a 9.00am start at the Par 3 Golf Links Kiosk (near Weir No 1 on the Torrens Lake), via War Memorial Drive. Depending on a democratic decision, the toss of a coin or wind direction, we’ll then ride towards Henley or Modbury for a chat and refreshments before turning back. Yes, it is easy to get parking near the Weir on Sundays at this time - but there is a 2hr parking limit. However, there are always plenty of parking bays and we have been parking there for many rides without any problem.
