Thanks to Mark for picking up the slack. Glad the wind never progressed beyond "evil"; it certainly felt down right diabolical at times riding home constantly fighting the bike and carbon wheels.

I suggested to Shaun that he check out the AC events for info on the SOBR's and to get Andrew's mobile number. He said that he'd come out on Thursday.

The wind was variable, varied between annoying and evil :-) although it did cooperate at one stage. At least Shaun now knows what the SOB is like, surface good weather perhaps not so good.

same here Mark+Shaun - I post these rides and do them religiously, but I'm down with a knee injury at the moment - itching to get back on.  I'm happy to keep posting the rides while I recover, but until further notice I'm a no-show :(

Yeah, if the wind is still gusting as it is presently (45 - 50 kmph) @ around 3:30, I may just ride on home. Going down to the southern end would be a blast but heading home will give me the $hits.

temp is nice, but jeeeez the wind is strong today.
I may try to roll out to the SOB this afternoon to test the knee, but I'm not ready to get back on the D-train quite yet.  Getting better day-by-day though methinks.
