Comment by Paul Mc on May 11, 2012 at 9:36: I enjoyed the ride it is a long way from home in the southern suburbs but certainly will be back, headlight needs an upgrade before then it was useless.

I uploaded my strava, averaged 26.5 kmh for the whole ride with a top speed of 42.4 kmh when going down a hill from a bridge I assume, If I kept on Shaun's tail on the return I would of imagined it would of been a lot higher. I didnt realise John and Michael where exciting early, so felt a little exposed on my own at the back after they turned off, I had paid attention on my ride down so felt comfortable I new the route.

Look after the knee, I had two weeks off the bike just the other week with back problems, its no fun not riding.

I had a nice visit to the doctor - she thinks I just haven't given soft tissue damage in my knee a chance to recover, which is a relief as I was starting to suspect tendon/ligament/cartilege. I'm on a full week of NO RIDING. Very difficult to handle! Look after your knees, gentlemen!
