This ride is intended for people wanting to improve their fitness and learn to ride fast in a group.
This is a training ride, not a social ride. We ride first, chat later.
Two laps of this course:

Meet opposite the Deep Blue Cafe in Moana.
7.00pm for 7.15pm departure.
For the first few sessions, expect the format and/or route to be "tweaked" to give the best outcome for all riders. This may mean we split into different ability groups and alter the course.
Speed will be approximately 28kmh+.
There will be one regroup at the end of lap 1 back at Moana.
Riders ride at their own risk of injury or bicycle damage and are strongly advised to have some form of cycle specific insurance.
Cheers
Phil

Comment by Patrick O'Kane on August 18, 2012 at 17:13 All ages welcome Brenton, last ride we had five riders from mid/early 30s to early 50s at a guess. No cost just bring coffee money :)
Comment by Matt Brennan on August 18, 2012 at 16:50 a good question!
There are some twenty somethings , some thirty somethings, some forty somethings and some fifty somethings in the SSRC group. Not sure who is turning up to the training rides.
The only cost is you have to listen to how well the Brits went in the games :)
sorry was making a inuiry as to what ages attend and what is the cost
