A social group ride for riders new to the concept and fearing that they are 'too slow' for other group rides.
Averaging around 20kph (can be slower if need dictates).
Starts and finishes at the Port Noarlunga Institute car park (near Becks Bakery) at the always sunny Port Noarlunga.
This is not a training ride and a Tail End Charlie will be appointed so that no one will be left behind.
There will be regular stops to regroup on what will be a gently undulating track.
Main roads will be avoided wherever possible.
We will also have the opportunity of having a chat and buy a well earned (and almost mandatory) coffee and cake at the end.
Meet for a rider briefing at 7.30am for a 7.45am start.
If you have ever wanted to go on group rides, the most important thing is to GET STARTED.
All riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type bike and an approved helmet are welcome.
All riders ride at their own risk and are advised to have public liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details.

@ Michelle, I think Gus is thinking about bringing his ride to the 3rd of June.
The P rides are a great idea IMO.
We havent had many Newby's for a while, I would imagine we will see more new Newby's come spring. Perhaps we could run the L ride monthly over winter giving us the opportunity to do more P rides, just a thought for everyone's discussion.
Good luck today you hardy souls. I am too much of a chicken.
Comment by Michelle Crick on May 25, 2012 at 21:41 Ok thanks Graham you might be lead in the morning as Phil not home yet :-)
Comment by Graham King on May 25, 2012 at 21:40 I'm sure we'll be able to get on it by going up Dalkieth. Will give everyone a chance for the Esplanade Strava segments.
Comment by Michelle Crick on May 25, 2012 at 21:37 OK thanks Graham will send Phil down to have a look, before the morning...
Comment by Graham King on May 25, 2012 at 21:36 No sorry haven't been on the track to see any detours. I just drive down Griffiths on my way home. Looks like they have dug up some of the central reservation.
Comment by Michelle Crick on May 25, 2012 at 21:33 @Graham don't suppose you know where the detour goes?
Comment by Graham King on May 25, 2012 at 21:31 Will be a slight change for tomorrow as the entrance to the C2V at Griffiths looks like it will be blocked for a while.
Think we'll need a hot drink tomorrow.
Comment by Michelle Crick on May 25, 2012 at 21:27 Feel like I have neglected you all a bit this week. Sorry no new route this week some more tweaks needed and some time for us to check the route out. Trying to sort out next week's P ride too :-)
Will hopefully see you all at Becks with the kids :-)
@Paul, Brighton is good place for a run up to OH :-)
