Event Description
A social group ride for riders new to the concept and fearing that they are 'too slow' for other group rides.
Averaging around 20kph (can be slower if need dictates).
Starts and finishes at the Port Noarlunga Institute car park (near Becks Bakery) at the always sunny Port Noarlunga.
This is not a training ride and a Tail End Charlie will be appointed so that no one will be left behind.
There will be regular stops to regroup on what will be a gently undulating track.
Main roads will be avoided wherever possible.
We will also have the opportunity of having a chat and buy a well earned (and almost mandatory) coffee and cake at the end.
Meet for a rider briefing at 7.30am for a 7.45am start.
If you have ever wanted to go on group rides, the most important thing is to GET STARTED.
All riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type bike and an approved helmet are welcome.
All riders ride at their own risk and are advised to have public liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details.

Nice ride again thanks to all, and being my second with Wattsy's growing crew!
As always good to meet new people e.g. Spartacus and the GW crew...Coffee was nice at Becks then home for the obligatory shower ;-)

BJ was out at the vale today and came back via Clarendon to the Blackwood beer fridge. Not feeling the pain anymore but I sure as heck need a shower at this stage!

Great ride today although may have been best to drive to Becks and forget the ride back. Thanks to Pat for the escort (not what your thinking) and how many GW rolled out for the ride.
Will add more to Franks( Wattsy) ride report needs lot of colour, photos, and theme to be added for the day.

Clocked over 108k for the day. Bailing out at McV meant I really didnt get to chat as much as I wanted, but still had great ride.
Note to self - dont fall for the cold beer partway through a ride - very hard to get going again!
