It’s on again! Australia’s biggest annual workplace riding event - Ride to Work Day - is on this year on October 12. Over 100,000 people participated in Ride to Work Day last year and we’re planning on making this year even bigger! The key focus for this year is about getting more people involved, so we want you to invite your friends, family and colleagues to register and enjoy the ride with them. This all helps in building the case for better bike facilities across the country. Registration is quick and free at ride2work.com.au!
In celebration of the National Ride to Work Programme, join us for a yummy breakfast and entertainment at Victoria Square on 12 October from 7am to 9am.
Be the last to finish and win!
During the Ride 2 Work Day breakfast on Wednesday the 12th October 2011 anyone can take part in the Slow Ride Challenge, and we will finish with Celebrity Slow Ride Challenge.
The Slow Ride Challenge will test rider's skills in a snail pace race. Pit your skills against other challengers over a mere 4 metres using City Bikes. The winner is the last person over the line or to have moved the least distance over a 30 second period. Feet cannot touch the ground.
