Event Description

A social group ride for riders new to the concept and fearing that they are 'too slow' for other group rides.

Meet 7:30am for an 7:45am ride.

Park at Becks Bakehouse in Port Noarlunga

Averaging around 20kph to 25kph depending on the group, can be slower if required.

This is not a training ride and a Tail End Charlie will be appointed so that no one will be left behind.

There will be regular stops to regroup to ensure no one gets lost or left behind

We will also have the opportunity of having a chat and buy a well earned (and almost mandatory) coffee and cake at the end.

If you have ever wanted to go on group rides, the most important thing is to GET STARTED.

All riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type bike and an approved helmet are welcome.

All riders ride at their own risk and are advised to have public liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details

veloway is next to the expressway, c2v is closer to the hills. They both end up in the same spot at the end of the expressway. Either turn off at Beach Road or hop onto River Road and come in along the river, doesn't make a lot of difference really.

well being my debut, i'll be perfectly honest and say i'm a bit nervous, so will be allowing plenty of time to make the trek to beck's.

@Matt B, what route would you take?  i'm thinking i'll tootle along c2v and beach rd. probs leave my house around 6:30ish.
