This weekend!
Australia's best cyclocrossers are racing in the Adelaide Park lands with the Champion System/SRAM National CX Series hitting town. Elite Women 1pm, Elite men 2pm, daily. SBS will be there filming for Cycling Central - watch the Melbourne video segment from SBS below. BRING YOUR COWBELLS!
There are SUPPORT EVENTS for anyone to have a go including kids of any age (yes there are 3yos). No matter what bike, or what age there is a category for you and your bike. Little Crossers 10:45am. Open bike (any bike you want to ride) 11am. CX-B grade for cyclocross and road bikes 11:45am and this will also have a C-grade for the slower people on any bike. You can sign-up on the day, or if you are quick, enter online.

Who would have thought the crowd would be three or 4 deep for the finish of the mens race! Great support guys, hope you enjoyed it today :-)

Big thankyou to everybody who put the National Cyclo cross series together and got it up and running...and thankyou to all the partipants and competitors for coming as it has proved to be very popular and ensures this sport will get growing interest in the future......as a competitor in the support event, it was heaps of fun and learned so much....

If I do a massive face plant into a pile of mud, or cartwheel down mulch hill, or trip on the steps....it could make SBS ?
