MID LEVEL RIDE
Cycling alone? - Come and join in.
If you are gaining a bit of confidence in cycling and looking for a ride that’s a little longer with some reasonable hills to warm you up but don’t want to ride at a fast speed, this is the ride!
Casual ride from McLaren Flat through Blewitt Springs via Chapel Hill onto and up the Old Clarendon Hill (at a nice slow pace) and return via Morphett Vale, Seaford and McLaren Vale. Ride speed is around 20 to 25km/hr with regular stops to keep all riders together (you will not be left behind).
Meeting at McLaren Flat general store (Main street) at 7.00 for at 7.10 start. Click on the map link above for a snapshot of the course.
Mechanically sound bike, an approved helmet and water bottle are required. You are riding at your own risk. No support systems are provided. A spare tube and pump are always a good idea.
*DISTANCE 62.5km
*FITNESS LEVEL = MED - HIGH (7/10)
*BIKE = T-BAR or ROAD
*EST TIME 3.5HRS

I really enjoyed riding some different Roads and I really enjoyed the coffee at that winery instead the same old K&S same old. 10 out of 10 for that

Comment by Quentin on January 21, 2013 at 13:19 Would lover to do this but have other commitments that morning. Would be very pretty out through Blewitt Springs/Clarendon and weather looks good for Wednesday.
