Event Description
A fun family oriented ride along the Torrens Linear path from Port Rd to Henley Square. Can arrange to have "pick ups" along the way to Henley or meet us there.
The theme is "Mad Hatters" so you need to wear/bring a hat* other than your helmet. It can be cycling related or other...the crazier the better.
* All hats must comply with AS/NZS 2063:2008 (with variations)

Would like to have made it to this today.
Was on call and was going to drive down to Henley when the dreaded phone rang.
Looks like it was a great day out.

Wish I could have made it down today, but I have a course on this afternoon that is taking my time away from cycling.. Have fun with the event!

I'm not attending :( have fun on the ride, I'm having a nice easy ride this arvo on the Coast to Vines with my better half, she reckons i spend too much time riding, cleaning, playing with ,building or talking bikes with you lot and not enough with her. I think she has a point.

i sooo was looking forward to this ride but just cant risk it one handed,thats what got me in trouble in the 1st place !!
i even had a costume all arranged and was going to ride my orange mountain bike, will have to do it all again next year :-(

Angus, I realised before I started. Was planning to tie ribbons to my helmet, until talked into organising a hat. Attached elastic to the hat. The hat sits strangely over the helmet.
