Event Description

Departs from Cafe Rimini at 07:30 and head to the Veloway for a descent to Darlngton. North on Marion Rd. right turn into Cross Rd and regroup at the Tollgate. Up the bike path to the summit of Mt Lofty. Maybe a coffee stop then back to Hallettt Cove via Greenhill Rd, Anzac Hwy and the Esplanade.

70 kms approx

Average pace 25-28kph.

Suitable for riders with reasonable fitness due to amount of climbing.

Regroups along the route as required.

Meet at 07:15 for ride briefing.

to the rest of the muddies...sorry I didn't hang around to chat.. had a sick son to take to the doctors. I have to say that that was the coldest ever my face, fingers and feet have ever been on a descent.. I was going slow... not for safety but to reduce chill factor. fingers were so sore when I got home I couldn't get my booties off! :)
