Comment by Lombardo on October 10, 2012 at 18:21 What a perfect event. Beautiful location for start & finish, lovely route, great company and all for a great cause. Thank you!
Comment by Trent on October 8, 2012 at 12:33 yeah was probably just me missing them and getting a little flustered. once again great to catch up
Support is something that this group will always have by the bucket load.
Comment by Ashleigh Moore on October 8, 2012 at 12:31 Great to meet at the ride Trent.. and thanks again for all your support, especially the Tweets to and fro with Lance! Punctures are a bummer and sorry to read about the directions.. not sure what happened with the signs though as they were prominent but is always easier when following a group.
Comment by Trent on October 8, 2012 at 9:45 well my Livestrong day was "eventful". punctured on the way but still got there at 7:45. Great to catch up with you Ashleigh and you are looking well mate. Got up nortons in a good time but that is where my fun ended. i ended up on my own and got lost. took a lovely detour and went to Mt Loft Summit then rode back to my office in the city with my tail between my legs. I know that there were sign posts but if possible would be great to see these a little more recognizable next year. Keep up the good work CVSA and Ashleigh and i look forward to seeing you again soon.
Comment by Keith Davies on October 7, 2012 at 21:36 This was my first ride with CV. The route the organisation the weather the company were all spot on. will certainly be back for more.
Comment by colin ware-lane on October 7, 2012 at 18:52 another great ride and was so proud of my wife Ann for riding up norton for the 1st time with her new cv jersey on.
Comment by Alastair (A-Man) Dowler on October 7, 2012 at 17:49 That climb out of Verdun has not got any flatter.
Thank you to the volly's, I think I might put my hand up for next year.
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on October 7, 2012 at 17:30 A great ride and great company, the ride had a real good vibe today, and how good was the weather? It could not have been much better.
I saw one rider with a message on the rear of his jersey, riding for someone who lost a battle with cancer and I'm pretty sure the date was this week. That's what makes this ride so important, kudos to all for supporting it.
Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of my first Livestrong, thansk for putting it on we appreciate all your volunteers work.
Thanks Andrew Mr Mapei for keeping me company and inspiration up Nortons, smashed my PR by 2 minutes.
