Event Description

Cancer Voices SA will again host another LIVESTRONG DAY RIDE in Australia. The ride is FREE and those who are up to a challenge ride through the Adelaide Hills are welcome to register. Show your support and  WEAR YELLOW or your Cancer Voices SA team jersey (if you have one) and join thousands (around the globe)  in showing support for the 28 million cancer survivors worldwide.

The event will commence at  Kensington Gardens Oval and comprise of 3 Challenge rides that loop into the Adelaide hills and return to the start. You can even check out last years LIVESTRONG Day Ride ride Click here.

Great to meet at the ride Trent.. and thanks again for all your support, especially the Tweets to and fro with Lance!  Punctures are a bummer and sorry to read about the directions.. not sure what happened with the signs though as they were prominent but is always easier when following a group.

well my Livestrong day was "eventful". punctured on the way but still got there at 7:45. Great to catch up with you Ashleigh and you are looking well mate. Got up nortons in a good time but that is where my fun ended. i ended up on my own and got lost. took a lovely detour and went to Mt Loft Summit then rode back to my office in the city with my tail between my legs. I know that there were sign posts but if possible would be great to see these a little more recognizable next year. Keep up the good work CVSA and Ashleigh and i look forward to seeing you again soon.

This was my first ride with CV. The route the organisation the weather the company were all spot on. will certainly be back for more.

another great ride and was so proud of my wife Ann for riding up norton for the 1st time with her new cv jersey on.

Patrick - it was Friday this week from memory. I looked for him at the end to offer my condolences but I missed him in the crowd.

A great ride and great company, the ride had a real good vibe today, and how good was the weather? It could not have been much better.

I saw one rider with a message on the rear of his jersey, riding for someone who lost a battle with cancer and I'm pretty sure the date was this week. That's what makes this ride so important, kudos to all for supporting it.
