Event Description

Earlier this year Adelaide Cyclist Jeremy Austin went cycling in France.

Many road cyclists dream of riding the same roads and cols made famous by the Tour de France - Alpe d'Huez, the Galbier, Mont Ventoux and the Tourmalet. This year Jeremy got to live his dream spending two weeks in the French Alps and the Pyrenees - over 1200 km (and 25km of ascent!) through some of the most spectacular cycling terrain in the world.

He has very kindly offered to present a slide show of photographs and some short video of his experience and talk about the ride, how he got to France with his bike and how you can do it. It's not that hard or expensive.

Site member Don Plush offered a location to hold it for which we are grateful to his employer, Shannon's Insurance - 863-865 South Road, Clarence Gardens SA 5039.

Seats are limited so it's only the first 40 people. You need to RSVP here AND send me an email at adelaidecyclists@gmail.com. When we're full the RSVP will be closed.

Cost will $2 to cover some refreshments.

Start is 6.30 for 6.45pm

@snappy don...no problem with BYO. There is an assortment of wine glasses in the kitchen that we can use.
