Thanks for hosting the ride today, guys. I needed reminding just how good the riding and the scenery is around that area. That's my first go at Anstey's. Good company, too.

I cramped up getting OUT of the car in my driveway, but then, I should have done some decent hamstring stretches back at Prices.

I should also have gone with the sticky bun - the raisin toast was crap., but never mind, there's always next time :)

I mostly enjoyed the ride today. I've made too many excuses for not riding lately and paid badly with cramps all the way from the Chain of Ponds climb back to Prices. And got stung by a bee on the way up North East Rd to Range Rd North. Small trials that made the coffee and sticky bun taste all the better.

Great scenery, roads and company today.

Sounds like you all had a great ride, excellent! Sad that I couldn't join you this morning - looking forward to next week, it's been too long.

Much less intimidating the second time around that course. But must admit I still had a few surprises with a hill popping up around a corner that I was not expecting. Look forward to doing it again, and again, . . . . As I said to Paul, on more than one occasion; "It doesn't get much better than this!". The GG have a little gem there.

Fantastic. I could feel my lack of matchday fitness on the drag back from Chain of Ponds. After leaving the cafe, I pushed it hard on the way home. Too hard, I think.  Crashed on the couch and got cramp in both legs badly.  All good now, though.

How was that? These rides just get better and better!

brrrrr. But I'm up and it isn't raining, so I'm coming.

Hey guys, I've woken with a bit of a tummy bug and won't be able to ride today (I'll spare you the details). Have a safe and fun ride today, see you all next week.

I will certainly miss Terry tomorrow. Besides the funny banter he always provides to keep us laughing as we go, we have a lot of fun testing each other at various random parts of these GW and GG rides. So get well soon mate. And no more of this doing 50 on the flat! No wonder you had a 'wobbly'. Geeezzz!!!
