Just read about your crash Andrew. Bad news ( obviously )

Hope you recover well and soon, and don't even look at your bike until your ready...

As late as ever Andrew, sorry to hear of your mishap and admiration for your attitude.

Wow! What a lot I've missed in the last few days (have been busy with non-cycling stuff which has taken up a lot of time - still, that's life)

Andrew - bad luck, mate - so close to home, too.  Insurance companies do say that most accidents occur within a couple of kilometres of home - I've always thought that makes a good reason to move elsewhere!  Seriously, if there's anything we can do for you, just holler.  Get well soon!

If we manage to make the ride on Sunday we'll probably meet you at the bottom end of Saints Rd

Bloody hell Andrew.  Another advert for mandatory helmet laws and another reason why I don't ride the good bike in the wet. Glad you're still with us but sorry to hear about the collarbone. Hope the pain is bareable.

I should be able to make this one - it'll be nice to ride some new roads as I don't think I've ridden much of this route. Fingers crossed I actually wake up with the alarm this time.

Mick A - gotta fix the Bertin now... Funny I had decided during the Vintage Steel ride to revert closer to original.  Have recently got some new old bits!!  So I'll get on with it when I can move a bit more.  Took me 20 minutes to bring in the rubbish & recycling bins yesterday <sigh>.

Roger - yeah - what can I say?  Rolling around and then bouncing along.  My own fault like most things (good and bad) in life.

Gemma - drugs, drugs and drugs!!  They are making it easier...

Baz - where I'm gonna have scars is a place no chicks will want to see..!

See you all soon - planning to return for the Strade Bianca ride (not GG but AC) on March 10.

Hope you mend well Andrew - damm oil on the road, unlucky stuff.

Remember - the broken bone heals stronger....and chicks dig scars :)

Andrew, I'm really sorry to hear about you being out of action - thankfully it is not any worse. Wishing you a speedy recovery and decent drugs to take the pain away!

Gee Andrew what can I say?

Sorry I havent read this page since Sunday Afternoon and btw sorry I didnt front up for vintage steel as well.

Isnt it just amazing how we came belting done Ansteys & GJ Rd Sunday probably taking real risks, I know i was thinking how far would I travel if I got airborne and bounced just once at 80kph?

Get well soon. I know all the Gully Grinders, just like myself, missed riding with you in Jan and we will miss you more in the next month.

Not good news Andrew, luckily your be around for another ride. Now you will have to spend more time in the shed rather than on the road. You must have another project bike somewhere that will ease the pain. Take care.
