Event Description

The Grand Slam Challenge is a series of recreational rides catering to cyclists of differing abilities looking to share the experience with hundreds of like-minded riders.

Between February and October there are five Grand Slam Challenge rides throughout the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula as part of the Grand Slam Challenge Series. Participants can ride in one, two, three, four or all five of the rides.

Each ride combines two different loops of between 40km and 100km, all starting an

d finishing in the one location. There is also a Mini Slam for those looking for something a little less challenging, in which participants complete only one of the two loops.

#1 Mt Torrens - 17 February - 40km/80km
#2 Willunga - 14 April - 50km/100km
#3 Meadows - 2 June - 60km/120km
#4 Strathalbyn - 25 August - 75km/150km
#5 Mt. Pleasant - 13 October - 100km/200km

There are also links on the BikeSA page to bikemap.net maps for each loop and those give the elevations.
