Ride Details

**** NOTE THAT THE RIDE WILL BE IN REVERSE DIRECTION TO BELOW FOR THIS WEEK ONLY!!!

An undulating ride starting in Gawler and finishing in Gawler.

After leaving Gawler, the ride joins onto the Gawler Bypass before linking up with the Gawler-Kapunda Rd for the straight run out towards Freeling.

A left turn at Gray St leads to Freeling's town centre where it will be possible to have a short break.

The ride continues in a westerly direction to Templers and Wasleys before returning to Gawler via Kangaroo Flat along Mallala Rd, passing Roseworthy College along the way.

Mallala Rd eventually becomes Redbanks Rd and a right turn at the large roundabout leads back to the Gawler Bypass via a short section of Weyland Rd.

The Two Wells Rd exit from the Gawler Bypass signifies the last section of the ride and the return into Gawler.

IMPORTANT

The Gawler Wheelers Group Ride Guidelines and Group Ride Recommendations must be read prior to attending a Group Ride Event.

Hi Steve, the actual ride report and rider's contributions after the event are on the main CONTRIBUTIONS page of this Adelaide Cyclists website. Maybe copy/paste your post over to that GW Ride Report thread. Once the ride is done people don't usually come back to this Event page.

have had a cold-ish/flu-ish thing for the past couple of days, hoping to be ok for GS4 on Sunday.  Doubt I'll make this one :(

I'd love to get back at the road that destroyed my tyre on my first GW ride, but I am interstate still :-(

Thanks Mick, lets see if I actually get there on time first. I did 200km today and averaged 24.9 kph so I should be ok with just a little rest ;-) If you can do with the company then thats fine too. Lets see what happens ;-)
