I'll be in GW uniform too. Bet I get some funny looks in Willunga though. I'll tell them it's been a long day in the saddle when they laugh at my Willunga Hill time ;-)
Comment by D-shackle on October 7, 2011 at 16:41 GW#17SSJ for me tomorrow, I think.
I'll have to give this one a miss I think. Only 4 weekends left before Amy's Ride and this Sunday's looking really iffy. I'll need to find some distance and hills down south this Saturday.
Not sure after being sick this week, I might need to save myself for GS5.
Comment by Andrew Jacks on October 6, 2011 at 10:11 Still stuck in Queensland, however catching plane back on Saturday.
Could not find a flight to get me in on time, so will have to wait until next weekend before getting back on my bike.
Comment by Frank (GW) on October 5, 2011 at 18:05 Gawler Saturday weather forecast at this stage looks like this:
"Mostly Sunny" : Max Temp = 22°C: Wind Speed 6kmh. Looking really good!!
You are welcome to attend. Never been on a group ride?....that's ok..we have newbies most weeks. Worried that you don't know anyone?....that's ok...we will make you feel welcome from the start. Fairly easy ride this week. Just get there soon after 7.00am so that you have time for a "meet & greet" before the ride. (If you have any questions post them here or feel free to call me on the number listed above). Cheers.
Comment by Dale (rouleur) Riggs on October 5, 2011 at 13:13 1 X Sister-in-law, 1 X Brother-in-law, 1 X Brother-in-laws brother, 1 X Brother-in-laws Sister-in-law. Confused? I have offered to loan bikes to anyone interested in a ride with GW but haven't had an acceptance so far. I too intend riding GS5 but probably only the first loop (I'd rather go hard on the GW ride) and not at all if the weather looks dodgy.
Comment by Frank (GW) on October 4, 2011 at 18:35 Juz, we are hopiing to get a good turn out however the GS#5 next day and school holidays may cut a few out. If Dale talks all of his family who ride to come along that will boost the numbers quite a bit!
ALL: Feel free to encourage any of your cyclist friends to come along...the more the merrier.
