Comment by Old Macdonald (Jon) on November 4, 2011 at 21:02 Post biting the bitumen Tuesday, I'm looking forward to an easy ride at the back tomorrow. See you all there.
Comment by Ian Clifford on November 4, 2011 at 14:08 Looks like a great turn out is on the cards tomorrow. With the weather warming up tomorrow it is time for everyone to think about putting the second drink bottle onto their bike.
Pete, if Kates not riding you can have Juz on the tandem!
Comment by Pete Roberts on November 3, 2011 at 19:49 No "small" spare bike Im afraid Juz, but I did experience a seagull flying through my front spokes many years ago.
WOW ! What a mess that made !!!
Tragedy aside ( for the bird ), it looked heaps funny: Feathers everywhere....
Comment by Andrew Jacks on November 3, 2011 at 18:51 Now I MUST look at the ride map before Saturday, as I do not intend to do what I did last week and ride the SOB all the way back to Gawler!
Comment by Juz on November 3, 2011 at 16:51 Hi - I've just put a discussion up on the GW pages.
http://www.adelaidecyclists.com/group/GawlerWheelers/forum/topics/d...
I had a pigeon fly into my front wheel today and now I'm dosed up on all kinds of pain killers and Dita is at the bike-doctors. I'm not sure I'll have her back for Saturday's ride but will be sorely diappointed if I have to miss this ride. Does anyone have a spare, small framed bike I might be able to borrow?
Pete I heard Kate wants to go to the winery and let you ride back while she sips her chardy, behind you!
Comment by Pete Roberts on October 31, 2011 at 19:36 Why do you think Kate is considering to ride on the Tandem ? Yep, That long range forecast for Saturday :)
Comment by Geraint ( Fred ) Davies on October 31, 2011 at 19:36 Tash and I looking forward to this one, this was our first ride with the Wheelers will give a good indication on how we have improved. Magpies have settled down now as well.
