Ride Details
An undulating ride starting in Gawler and finishing in Gawler.

After leaving Gawler, the ride follows the Barossa Valley Way passing through Sandy Creek and Lyndoch. The ride continues on to picturesque Williamstown, via Lyndoch Valley Rd, where it will be possible to have a short break.

The return ride to Gawler leaves Williamstown and follows Yettie Rd passing the entrance to the Whispering Wall at the Barossa Reservoir. The ride then follows Williamstown Rd through scenic Cockatoo Valley and Sandy Creek before meeting up again with the Barossa Valley Way and the final downhill run into Gawler.

Hi everyone. Below is the Gawler weather forecast for our very special Australia Day Celebration and Ride. It is cooling down just for us seeing that we are riding later than usual. Perfect for the Apex Park formalities as well. We ride one of our shortest routes due to the late ride start and to cater for those who are riding BUPA tomorrow. We leave Cafe Farina's at the usual time...all welcome to join us. Only two sleeps to go!!!! BUPA RIDERS >> Good luck and safe riding!!

Come and celebrate AUSTRALIA DAY and be part of Gawler's Australia Day Celebrations. A free breakfast (gold coin donation) and Australia Day Awards ceremony will take place at ➨ Apex Park, Julian Tce, Gawler, SA, 5118 on Saturday morning according to the schedule of events shown below.

The Gawler Wheelers Cycling Group was nominated and has won Gawler's "2013 Community Group of the Year Award".

Note : The Gawler Wheelers will leave the Café at 07:30am and ride to Apex Park in Gawler to attend the celebrations. It is expected that the celebrations will conclude at 10:00am. The actual group ride will commence at this time. This will mean a later than normal return to the Café at approximately 12:30pm.
