This ride is intended for people wanting to improve their fitness and learn to ride fast in a group.
This is a training ride, not a social ride. We ride first, chat later.
Two laps of this course:

Meet opposite the Deep Blue Cafe in Moana.
7.00pm for 7.15pm departure.
For the first few sessions, expect the format and/or route to be "tweaked" to give the best outcome for all riders. This may mean we split into different ability groups and alter the course.
There will be one regroup at the end of lap 1 back at Moana.
Riders ride at their own risk of injury or bicycle damage and are strongly advised to have some form of cycle specific insurance.
Cheers
Phil

Comment by Graham King on August 8, 2012 at 22:28 And next week I'll make sure my Garmin isn't paused so I can have a go at those segments as well :-)
Comment by Phil Crick on August 8, 2012 at 22:18 Cake rule:
If you do 1 lap, you can have a drink, if you do 2, you can have cake too :-)
Tonight went well other than a busted spoke going up the bluff. There are some strava segments for the taking on this route, so make sure you are here next week.
Terminal man flu anyway + no lights maybe another week!
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on August 8, 2012 at 18:46 Bugger, freed up some time only to be told there's a career's expo on at the school tonight, found out about half an hour ago so I guess #1 son isn't destined for a career in communications.
Comment by Graham King on August 8, 2012 at 15:03 LOL Phil, don't worry they'll be three as Martin is coming too.
Comment by Phil Crick on August 8, 2012 at 13:23 So here's the plan:
Lap 1 ride round as a group (all two of us) at a reasonable speed and get a pace line going that everyone can keep up with
Lap 2 Let the faster riders go at their own pace
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on August 7, 2012 at 20:39 Changed to a might attend, got a fair bit of work to do which might get in the way, will see what happens tomorrow.
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on August 7, 2012 at 19:29 It must be the only game in the world when you get the ball you have to stop running.....
Port Adelaide's game plan ?
Oh wait, you have to get the ball first, forget that.
Comment by Matt Jones on August 7, 2012 at 17:12 ROFL MB, IIRC you have played a game or two.
