A social group ride for riders new to the concept and fearing that they are 'too slow' for other group rides.
Hallett Cove Start : Meet 7:45am for an 8:00am ride
Glenelg Start : Meet 8:30 am for 8:45am ride
We'll be coming back past Hallett Cove if you want an even later start, not sure on time yet.
Averaging around 20kph to 25kph depending on the group, can be slower if required.
This is not a training ride and a Tail End Charlie will be appointed so that no one will be left behind.
There will be regular stops to regroup to ensure no one gets lost or left behind
We will also have the opportunity of having a chat and buy a well earned (and almost mandatory) coffee and cake at the end.
If you have ever wanted to go on group rides, the most important thing is to GET STARTED.
All riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type bike and an approved helmet are welcome.
All riders ride at their own risk and are advised to have public liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details

Comment by Phil Crick on July 14, 2012 at 22:34 Looks like the weather for this tomorrow will be significantly better than the Muddie's ride today!
Comment by Andrew on July 12, 2012 at 20:10 Been crook all week and ain't gonna be up to it.
Comment by Michelle Crick on July 10, 2012 at 22:35 All being well there will be a big turn out from the city bringing everyone south, 18 currently attending but only 3 from SSRC group confirmed at this stage...
A lot will depend on the weather but I hope a lot more of us can turn out :-)
I have to flip a coin between a Muddies Lofty and a Winter Ride, I can only get a 1 day leave pass so unless its coming down cats and dogs I will be doing Lofty as I have never been up there to date. Have fun and good luck.
Comment by Phil Crick on July 8, 2012 at 12:49 that's why we have sat nav!
Comment by Michelle Crick on July 8, 2012 at 10:26 OK after heading down to Brighton to Glenelg yesterday there are so many diversions it was a joke!
So I have altered the route slightly so we still get to ride the espy a bit but more direct - I could show this to Phil but you know what he is like so here you go folks this is the route I suggest you follow.
Michelle, I will be riding into town to hook up with those at CIBO's and would think all would be at the Buffalo by 8.30 or there about.
