7.15am - Riders briefing

All supporters, well wishers, comedy fans, are welcome to come and watch the carnage...I mean fun...

If anyone is interested in providing some event support by way of a sag wagon to carry some additional drinks and take some photos / video, that would be terrific - please let me know.

@Peter Hill

Nice analysis and it "sort of" works.  However, I suspect that the second climb will actually rank as the easiest climb - anything with a distance of less than 1km on your table gets disadvantaged on the rating system.  Perhaps you could also build in a factor that takes in fatigue as we progress!  Haha...

Def agree that the final climb will be the most difficult - especially after the previous 12.

I think the photo is Woodland Way, and if I don't want to see it this way on the day, I am bringing my triple!

there are some nasties here.

If you multiply the distance by the gradient you can get an idea how they compare:

climb km gradient rating
Teringie Dve 0.9 11.5 10.35
Magill to Horsenells Gully Rd  3 6 18
Coach Rd 2.4 9.8 23.52
Knox Tce 1.4 9.4 13.16
Kensington Rd  1.3 11.5 14.95
Ridgeland Dve 0.7 12.5 8.75
Woods Hill Rd 0.8 8.1 6.48
Burdetts Rd 1.7 7 11.9
Knotts Hill / Pound Rd  2.7 8 21.6
Fernhurst Rd (Cherryville) 2.1 10.8 22.68
Corkscrew Rd 2.5 8.9 22.25
Tay Rd / Kintyre Rd 1.2 8 9.6
Coach House Dve / Woodlands Way 2.7 10.1 27.27

I nervously clicked Might...

Looks like a world of pain that I feel the need to try. There are many hills there that I have not yet attempted, so I could potentially tick quite a few off in one day.

Might be a big ask with my standard cranks :)
