Will plan re-group spots and will have dedicated TECs that ensure no one is left behind.  The regroup spots allow everyone to go at their own pace - never pressure on the slower riders.

We will be following the guidelines outlined in the .pdf here: http://www.adelaidecyclists.com/group/gully-grinders-north-east-cyclists/page/gully-grinders-group-ride-guidelines

Hi Gemma..

Looks like I have some energy left in my legs to attend your ride in the morning with you guys. No record breaking pace though :)

@roger, we have that crown in our midsts at present so I'm sure a slow treaddle out can be arranged! :-)
@Kylie, wish you were here, there is a lass getting crowns all over the local area and you'd be much better than me to claim some scalps off her! I've got some training to do! :-)

If we don't get away absolutely on time and ride like demons we might expect to get to the corner around 8.20. Anyway seems the approaching km from just after McItyre Rd is a Strava section so who knows. anyway hope to see you both

@ Gemma, same as Andrew as not sure of tonights plans. If I do ride I will meet the group at the cnr NER & Grand Junction about 8.10-8.12. If not there don't wait for me.

Have a nice ride

Only a maybe - and won't make the start at Price's Bakery.  Will join in along the planned route before the Anstey climb if I can make it.  Reason for not getting there on time - a late night tonight.... Andrew.

Thanks for the hint Terry! I must admit I am a bit of a nervous Nellie when it comes to these sorts of routes, after my Snake Gully experience. That Gorge Road might be a bit tricky, with all the hoons zooming up and down for their Sunday morning adrenalin hit. Hope they are still in bed when we go through!!

And Torrens Hill Road has been mentioned twice now. Never heard of it! But thanks for all the warnings fellas! Certainly won't be trying to set any speed records rolling down that one!

I'm just registering my extreme jealousy, this sounds like a really nice ride! Have fun (and Gemma set some QOMs for me!)

Also, another +1 to watching out for the descent down Torrens Hill Road, that's hairy enough coming down in a car.

@John.. You will cream Anstey's mate.. If I can ride up it you surely can easily John..Problem I found is yep takes some energy out of the legs so when hill other climbs come after they seem rather hard LOL...Take your time going up Ansteys John and treat it like Gomersal Rd..I might ride along with you mate if I pull up ok from Sat ride...have fun if I dont attend though. :)
