Sunday 6 May, and the first Sunday of subsequent months. Weather permitting, join like-minded people (in Green!) and have a casual ‘family friendly’ amble on your bike along Linear Park. Arrive at 8.45am for a 9.00am start at the Par 3 Golf Links Kiosk (near Weir No 1 on the Torrens Lake) where there are toilets and refreshments. (Access to the Par 3 Golf Links Kiosk is via War Memorial Drive.)
We’ll then ride towards the sea for a chat and refreshments at Henley Beach. If the legs won’t take you that far on the first few rides, look for a companion and turn around when you please to converse and refresh yourself back at the Par 3 Golf Links Kiosk.
For further details contact Arthur Seager: phone 0419 831 950 email artykat@bigpond.net.au or Duncan Fowler: phone 0408 814 231 email duncan@duncanfowler.com.au

Comment by Arthur Seager on May 6, 2012 at 19:57 Some people mistakenly went to the Geoff Heath Par 3 golf course in Campbelltown to begin the ride instead of the Par 3 couse on Memorial Drive in the city. Fortunately the two groups made contact and both decided to do the ride from where they were. Eventually, we combined for coffee at Henley Beach and all set off to return together. It was a good 20km/hr "Family Friendly" ride.with 8 riders.
Comment by Arthur Seager on May 5, 2012 at 19:41 My eldest daughter, Kim, and her son, Harley will be attending but they can't say so on this site because they are not members of Adelaide Cyclists.
Computerless David Scougall has sent me an SMS to tell me he will be attending.
Looks like we have 6 starters at least. Wonder who else will turn up

Would of loved to come along with the family but have made other commitments, we will try and come along next time, cheers.
