This is where I tell you that I managed to ride the North bound leg at 45km/h, ( but forgot to set my Garmin ! )...

That sounds like a #fail on rules #1 (naturally), #5 (htfu) and #9 (riding in bad weather). Of course I #fail on more than just these rules :-)
