Event Description

A social group ride for riders new to the concept and fearing that they are 'too slow' for other group rides.

Starts and finishes at the Port Noarlunga Institute car park (near Becks Bakery) at the always sunny Port Noarlunga.

Meet 7.45 for an 8am ride

Averaging around 20kph to 25kph depending on the group, can be slower if required.

This is not a training ride and a Tail End Charlie will be appointed so that no one will be left behind.

There will be regular stops to regroup to ensure no one gets lost or left behind

We will also have the opportunity of having a chat and buy a well earned (and almost mandatory) coffee and cake at the end.

If you have ever wanted to go on group rides, the most important thing is to GET STARTED.

All riders with a mechanically sound road or flat bar type bike and an approved helmet are welcome.

All riders ride at their own risk and are advised to have public liability insurance, and to carry emergency contact details.

Really hope you can make especially if you get your new bike but I have a feeling George will say no. Just tell him it's a nice easy spin :-)

Steve, no still suffering a bit, about 50% better, seeing the Physio Saturday morning but unless he tells me to keep off the bike a bit longer I will ride Sunday.  I havent riden for a week and half so pretty keen to have a spin, plus there is a chance I might have the new bike, fingers crossed.

Paul, you feeling well enough to do a ride now? I hope all the pain and concern has gone now!

I followed the numbers on the map, up the c2v and back via the Southern Expressway bike path *shrug* I presume that is what was intended.

Is this a "P" ride because its inbetween the "L" ride and the Muddies 8-)

Sorry being lazy with my descriptions, thought it would be easier getting up the Coast to Vines earlier :-)

trace the ride profile and it shows which direction the course has been plotted on the map
